February in Michigan, what a gift. Each month of each season reminds us what a blessing it is to live. Surely, they each have their unique tactics—and corresponding questions they ask us—but this morning I find myself gazing into the collision of pastel blue skies and bright white ice, knowing what magic is. It surrounds us at all times, flowing from our hearts, carrying us from fear to faith. I am preparing my second cup of coffee, writing from my favorite place, thankful for today’s adventure ahead. My overnight bag is packed, and shortly I will depart for Haslett where I will be reunited with one of my best friends.
